根據最新釋出的iOS 26 Beta 6測試版檔案，AirPods未來可能加入「即時翻譯（Live Translation）」功能，讓用戶在面對面交談時可透過耳機即時聽到翻譯內容。
測試版檔案中出現一張AirPods圖像，旁邊顯示多國語言的「Hello」字樣，並提示可透過雙擊操作啟動該功能。檔案名稱為「Translate」，顯示該功能將與翻譯應用緊密相關。
《彭博》記者古爾曼（Mark Gurman）先前已透露，AirPods計畫支援面對面翻譯，而此次測試版的發現顯示功能已進入準備階段。蘋果可能會在iOS 26正式版或後續更新中推出，初期支援AirPods Pro 2與AirPods 4。
目前iOS 26已在電話、訊息與FaceTime中提供即時翻譯，而此功能若整合AirPods，將可讓使用者更自然地跨語言交流。由於現有的即時翻譯需依賴Apple Intelligence，該功能可能也需要搭配支援Apple Intelligence的桃園手機收購iphone才能使用。
